My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

steam reflections
In Term 3, the students have been continuing their STEAM learning using the STEAM Electronics kits. They have been learning how to block code using the program Snap4Arduino. The purpose of this learning has been for the students to control one or more LED lights on an electronic arduino board using code. Each week the coding expectation increased and the students showed perseverance in achieving success
1.what was I learning and why? I was learning mainly how to code. How
to use arduino and the breadboard and
finally how you make LEDs fade on, off or alternatively.
2. What did I do well and how do I know?
I did awesome at make a LED fade on
and off. I know this because whaea Deb
and myself figured it out where the last piece of code was.
3. What challenged me ……?
The bit where we had to make
the led go on and off.Plus the time where we were making
two LEDs flash alternatively boy that was tricky
4.What would I do differently next time to make my learning more successful ….. ?Well I was really successful at it but when it came to the time when we had to make
LEDs go on and off alternatively. So next
time I will start to focus on making alternative LEDs
5. What have I enjoyed about the learning?
everything! there was absolutely nothing
I disliked at all!

Science roadshow
At the roadshow it had heaps of inventions their but before we could do any of the fun stuff we had to sit down and watch a small. Firstly they asked for three voulenteers .The first one came up to the front and she blew bubbles in a straw which led to a glass cylinder. The water turned yellow because she blew in liqud nitrogin and it landed between 2 and 3. After that we got to go and do something. I first walked to this bike and it was attached to another bike which had a skeleton on it . When you ride on it you look at the skeleton to see how your bones move. All I learnt was how our bones work when we ride a bike and I liked everything else to.

thoughtful,positive,and helpful comments
how you make fine nice helpful comments to other people on their blogs
steps for playing Rippa
number one: Organize the players into two teams
1.Firstly organize the players into two even teams for example number each player something like 1 and 2. [now your gonna have to at least]Have a mix of girls and boys also don`t let one of the teams hog manly all the skilled players or else its completely useless playing the game when you know how would win.
2. choose a good captain
If you wanna good a captain choose extremely wisely about who`s going to be the captain. The captain should lead every one to glory not just make a fuss when the other team scores a try. Always remember that you only choose a captain that is very fair and that has sportsmanship.
3.getting your gear on
At a time like this you now sort out the tags in to two groups of the same colour. Hand out everyone out a velcrow belt so everyone can wrap it around their waist. If!!!They do not have a belt on they would not be playing Rippa instead, you would be playing tackle instead. Now take two tags and pass them down in a line to the back stop until everyone has got a pair. Now they can attach their tags onto the sides of their belts. You do this so players on the other team can rip you and so you can rip them.
